This just makes me smile to remember how good it was! 10 million people played this ARG, setting standards and a benchmark for future games. On question are ARGs a ‘fad’ that will die out, or will the marketing tool turn become the entertainment, immersive entertainment. I think that the reason why this one has become so successful is that players feel part of the story, perfect for a film… almost like they in it? Leading an ‘alternate’ life? Escapism? Questions.
