Excitement overcame me this morning when Chris arrived at work and informed Anna and I about a possible ARG sighting. In his travels to work he spotted in the London Metro the following ads as they all tied together in some way.
We all typed in one of the URL’s and this took us to a SKY TV show page for ‘The Take’. So in fact not an ARG but ‘Stealth Advertising’. Disappointed on the one hand that it was not an ARG ‘rabbithole’, but then it did kind of serve its purpose, as we were talking and spreading the message by WOM. The fact that I am blogging it proves that.
We now know about this TV show, so was the the overall objective of building awareness achived? Just wonder hpw many people would have spotted the ad. Most likley the buyers are relying on a few to spot the ads then spread by WOM…
